1st Day: Arrival- KM 20

Arrival at Palermo airport and then take your car from the car hire office Sicily by Car. Drive to Palermo area and overnight in the hotel.

2° Day: Palermo/Monreale- KM 24

Palermo is the capital of Sicily, it is situated on the Tyrrhenian coast at the foot of Monte Pellegrino. The best way to visit the town is to walk through the old city rich of magnificent Byzantine, Arabic-Norman and Baroque buildings . Visit  San Giovanni degli Eremiti's Church, one of the oldest churches of Arabic origin in Palermo. The Norman's Palace and the Palatine Chapel, the highest diemostration of power during the Arabic-Norman period. Other important visit is the Cathedral, the first church built in the town and harmonious example of all mentioned architectonical styles. Inside the cathedral there are the thombs of the Norman Kings and the Emperor Federico II. Pino's advice is to visit the puppet theater in PinoAdvise  Pino's advice is to taste the typical street food such as “arancine” (fried rice balls), “sfincione” (typical pizza with onion) and “panelle” (fried chickpeas fritters)PinoAdvise.
Drive to Monreale to admire the cathedral with gold mosaic and the Benedictines Cloister, considered the finest example of the Norman architecture in Sicily. Pino's advice is to taste there the typical Sicilian dessert “Cannoli”PinoAdvise. In the afternoon  do some shopping or admire other monuments in Palermo. Pino's advice is to taste seafood dishes on Mondello beach or visit  the Botanical Garden of Palermo which is an open-air 200–year-old museum with endless different species of tropical and subtropical flora of Sicily, Europe and Mediterranean zone. Pino will offer  you a glass of wine in a unique place to admire an amazing view of PalermoPinoAdvise. Return to the hotel. Overnight

3° Day: Castellammare del Golfo/Zingaro reserve- KM 180

After breakfast, departure to Castellammare del Golfo, a small village in the north-western coast of Sicily, located in a beautiful bay between Capo Gallo and Capo San Vito. Proceed to visit the protected area of “Zingaro reserve“. The reserve covers approx 7 KM between cliffs in the “blue” seawater and little beaches. During this day, you will have the opportunity to admire beautiful landscape and to see small hidden bays to take a bath in the sea. This Natural Reserve is a trekking area and can only be reached on foot (we recommend sport wear). Pino's advice is to have lunch in  PinoAdvise  Pino's advice is to make a stop in a village of Scopello and to taste "Pani cunzato", typical bread with tomatoes and oil. Return to the hotel and overnight.

4° Day: Erice/Marsala/ Trapani area KM 180

After breakfast, excursion to Erice, typical Sicilian medieval town, located 800 mt. over the sea. Visit the Cathedral and stroll along the typical streets. Pino's advice is to taste the typical products in  PinoAdvise.

Continue to Marsala. Alongside the coast you can see the salt pans. Marsala is rich of churches, monuments and museums such as the Museum “Baglio Anselmi” where you can admire the rest of the Phoenician ship. Pino's advice is to visit the little island of Mozia with its museum. Overnight at the hotel in Trapani area.

5° Day: Favignana island- KM 10

After breakfast, you will reach Trapani port to take your ferry to Favignana island.

Favignana is the biggest of the “Egadi Islands". The ancient name of Favignana “Aregusa“ means “Butterfly“ due to the island shape. You can spend the day enjoying the clean and blue sea and discover different bays: Burrone Beach (a sandy beach), Blue Bay “Cala Azzurra“ (a little beach with rocks), Red Bay (a sea cliff called in this way due to the battles between Romans and Carthaginians in this part of the sea). Pino's advice is to visit the old Tonnara Florio, today a museum. Pino's advice is to taste fish products such as tuna or swordfish in PinoAdvise. Back to Trapani port by ferry and return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Trapani area.


6° Day: Castelluzzo/Makari/San Vito Lo Capo- KM 40

After breakfast, you will discover Castelluzzo, it is famous for its olive groves and the sandy beaches, then you will proceed to Makari located in a beautiful position between the Bay Mancina “Cala Mancina“ and the mount Cofano. Pino's advice is to visit the Mangiapane cave with its atmosphere. Then continue to San Vito Lo Capo, one of most important Sicilian seaside town, famous also for the international couscous festival that is held in September. Back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in San Vito lo Capo area.


7°Day: Mazzara del Vallo/Selinunte/ Segesta/ Palermo area- KM 300

After breakfast, drive to Mazzara del vallo, an agricultural and fishing center. Its port gives a shelter to the largest fishing fleet in Italy. Visit the museum where there is a famous Greek statue "Satiro" that was found in the depth of 500 meters in the sea by local fishermen. Continuation to Selinunte, the largest archeological area in the Mediterranean, founded in the 2nd half of the 7th century A.C. by Greek settlers, and it was continually at odds with Segesta. The journey continues to Segesta, the most important town of the Elymi people. Flourishing in the 5th century B.C., Segesta continued to hold an important status as a trading center in Hellenistic and Roman times.Today the site has two of the best-preserved classical monuments from the 5th century B.C. Doric temple and an equally well-preserved ancient theatre which provides its audience a stunning view towards the nearby Gulf of Castellamare. Pino's advice is to relax yourselves in the natural thermal baths of Calatafimi. Drive towards your hotel in Palermo area and overnight. 

8°Day: Departure- KM 20

After breakfast, depending on your departure flight time, you might have time for your last visit of the city. Departure to the airport of Palermo. Please, take your car back to the car hire office “Sicily by car”. Go to the terminal and have a nice flight back home!
